Like many streetwear brands, Anti Social Social Club operates on a drop model. That means new collections and collaborations—often responding to cultural moments or zeitgeist brands—come every week. Instagram 2023 Trend Report
Cancel Communications served as Instagram’s primary agency to draft, produce and publicize the platform’s 2023 Trend Report, a data-driven guide to cultural and social trends as defined by Gen Z on Instagram.
Cancel Communication’s leading support of the Trend Report encompassed every area of our work in media: Using researched conducted alongside WGSN, our team drafted and edited the written report. We also oversaw a creative partner’s production and design of the report’s assets, as well as the video production for a suite of social-first videos with leading creators on the platform.
Further, Cancel Communications led Instagram’s far-reaching media and press strategy to publicize the report, encompassing legacy media partners, fashion and consumer media, broadcast, Gen Z social publishers, and emerging Gen Z media.
In all, Cancel Communications ensured that the 2023 Trend Report captured youth culture and trends across Instagram; broke into mainstream media; and eclipsed other year-end reports in media coverage, including TikTok’s “Year on TikTok” report.

Polaroids & Portrait Series
Cancel Communications works with photographer Vincenzo Dimino to capture celebrities, tastemakers, fashion icons, and music legends at many of the largest cultural events each year. Working with editorial partners including Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, and PAPER Magazine, Cancel Communications’ collaboration with Dimino continues to produce exclusive imagery for must-see events.

2022 Met Gala & Instagram After Party
In 2022, Instagram continued its title sponsorship of the Met Gala. As Instagram’s brand communications agency, Cancel Communications spearheaded the press and media strategy for IG’s Met Gala activations, including Instagram’s official 2022 Met Gala After-Party.
In Met Gala planning, we worked across teams to develop strategy for each party, coordinate with external co-sponsors, highlight and support Creator inclusion, develop comprehensive media and guest lists, place press exclusives and post-event coverage, plan on-site strategy for communications and Creators, support event creative, and monitor media coverage.

”BROS” Premiere & Trailer Release
Cancel Communications worked with NBCUniversal to coordinate media and creator strategy for the release of Billy Eichner’s 2022 romantic comedy, “BROS,” billed as the first gay rom-com produced by a major motion picture studio. Cancel Communications led and coordinated a widespread influencer marketing campaign to promote the release of the film’s red band trailer, and we coordinated influencer and creator attendance for the film’s New York and Los Angeles premieres.
